Sunday Funday! Weekend escapade from Sotogrande to Estepona by boat
It’s almost winter and the sun keeps shinning here in Costa del Sol. So, to change our usual weekend plans in Sotogrande (Golf, golf and more golf!) this past Sunday we were invited by a friend of ours for a fun and adventurous trip to Estepona by sea.
The experience was AMAZING. And without being able to travel by plane like before, it was a good opportunity to change the air and relax among friends!
A safe adventure ideal to seize the sunny and warm days during Sotogrande’s winter
We took off from Sotogrande Marina around mid-day and we arrived to Estepona in time for lunch. We were six people aboard, all hungry for the recommended excellent food being served at AMURA restaurant located at the Estepona port.
As recommended the food was excellent. Extremely fresh fish prepared without fuss and washed down with a good glass of wine. We would recommend AMURA to anyone looking for well-priced simple but very good quality food.
The mediterranean sea was gorgeous, flat as a pancake, with its intense-blue color contrasting with the bright-blue Andalusian sky empty of clouds. Oh! We love the weather and the activities you can during autumn and winter in and around Sotogrande.
The trip had one small negative in that we did not see any dolphins. Seeing these wonderful creatures is quite common off Sotogrande, but not on that day. Nevertheless we finished off the day with a sundowner at Gigis which is always enjoyable.
Sotogrande, the smartest decision for your wellbeing.
How do you spend your weekends? Hope you enjoy Sotogrande as much as we do!
Thanks for passing by! Stay safe, Stephanie and Charlie.
