Springtime in Sotogrande!
Spring is in the air… The official Springtime is from the 20th March to the 20th June. Life in general is really inspiring because the weather is picking up, flowers start blooming everywhere, the Mimosa trees are blooming on each side of the Sotogrande streets, and even my Orchids are showing off …
Those who are in school usually feel a bit more optimistic about the year ending in just a few months, and things are just a bit more cheerful.
Slowly but surely Sotogrande is getting busier, we received more rental enquiries than previous Easter holidays.
Lots of activities are planned

- the RC44 Regatta is back from 27th to 30th April

- the new Sotogrande Grand Prix for classic cars from 24th to 28th May

- Ongoing events at La Reserva Club … such as Fitness Challenge, Bakery Workshop, Fun Run, Yoga, Tennis…

- The J 80 World Championship Event from 1st to 30th June
The Sunday market has more stands every year, and there is one in particular I visit on a regular basis: “Barry the salt man”; Barry has the best salt and pepper mixtures, and I promise you get hooked to his spices! He also sells the grinding mills for the spices, which are the best I have ever had.
Then besides the colourful stands with its craftsmanship, there are excellent restaurants and shops to explore.
