The La Quinta Polo Tournament, now in its 10th edition, is an eagerly anticipated annual event that takes place on the last weekend of May. This prestigious tournament serves as a social gathering where both national and international brands converge, a shared experience filled with enjoyment. This year 2023, our team Don Diego + Noll Sotogrande came in fourth place. And the winner was Pampa y La Vía, congratulations to the team – it was a great Finale!
A Polo tournament that promotes Sotogrande’s local gastronomy
Central to the tournament’s mission is the presentation of Sotogrande’s culinary options to the visitors and residents. as each team represents a local restaurant. Attendees have the opportunity to explore a wide range of gastronomic proposals that Sotogrande has to offer. It is a way to expose all the clubs in the area (players, peticeros, workers) with a fun tournament the inaugurates the Spring season of Polo in Sotogrande.
It’s a four-day polo event in Sotogrande!
From Thursday to Sunday, the La Quinta Polo Tournament spans four thrilling days of polo action. The most exciting day is Sunday, when the finals are played. On this day, more than 700 people are expected to attend, making it the highlight of the event with over 2,000 attendees throughout the entire weekend. Alongside the polo matches, attendees can enjoy a selection of wines, delicious tapas from the grill, and refreshing drinks. The excitement continues with live performances by local artists, bands, flamenco shows, and Argentine Tango performances..
